BlackBerry OS 6 Images Leaked?

BBLeaks.com has posted the newly leaked images of what appears to be RIM’s latest OS, BlackBerry OS 6.0.  This design is not too far off from the image BerryScoop posted a few weeks back (which turned out to be a BlackBerry sample widget from DevCon).  These leaked images all but confirm that RIM is finally looking to make some radical changes to its aging OS.  BlackBerry seems to making the right move here, taking an informational panel approach that’s becoming increasingly popular (as we see with Android widgets and Windows Phone Series 7).  It’s no secret that BlackBerry is looking to continue its wave of success despite facing increased competition from the iPhone and Android.  While there’s no guarantee that this move will work, it’s definitely the direction that RIM needs to be moving in.

Update – BGR is reporting that these are simply mockups from RIM’s MWC Presentation.  It looks like we’ll get our first real glimpse of the upgrade soon though, as RIM seems to be moving quickly on getting this update out.
