Panasonic has begun to roll out updates to its VieraCast service on its 2009 VieraCast capable television sets. While it does not offer Netflix and Skype (as found on the 2010 models) it offers several nice improvements that should make most Panasonic plasma owners happy. Panasonic has added Pandora, Fox Sports, and Twitter to VieraCast, while tweaking the interface to make navigation noticeably quicker. We’re still holding onto hope that Panasonic will find a way to add Netflix (which they claim is technically impossible on the 2009 models), but overall we welcome these improvements.
